Master Sergeant Cheryl L Sizer

Master Sergeant Cheryl L. Sizer, flute, hails from Lafayette, Louisiana. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Loyola University in New Orleans and a Master of Music degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. Cheryl has studied flute with Murray Panitz, Kazou Tokito, and John Barcellona. She has performed with the Acadiana Symphony, the Rose Tree Pops Orchestra and the River's Edge Trio in Philadelphia. Before joining The United States Air Force Academy Band in 1993, Cheryl was a member of the 523rd Air Force Band in Washington, and the 15th Air Force Band in California. Cheryl is currently principal flutist in the concert band as well as the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the concert band.
