Master Sergeant Steven M Przyzycki

Master Sergeant Steven M. Przyzycki, percussion, hails from Chicago, Illinois. He joined The United States Air Force Academy Band in June 1997. Steve holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Percussion Performance from Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt University. He has studied percussion with Edward Poremba, Patricia Dash, Joel Spencer, Ronald Rando, Chick Evans, John Kinzie and Doug Walter. While in Chicago, Steve was a member of the Illinois Symphony, the Symphonic Pops Orchestra of Chicago, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and the Chicago Percussion Quintet. He has also appeared with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Grant Park Symphony, Chicago Sinfonietta, Illinois Chamber Orchestra and Chicago's Symphony II. Steve enjoyed a very active freelance career in Chicago and has been a clinician at The Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic, The Texas Bandmaster’s Conference, The Colorado Music Educator’s Association Conference and The Arkansas Bandmaster’s Convention. In addition to performing with Academy Winds, Steve is principal percussionist with the Concert Band.
