Senior Master Sergeant Lawrence T Hill

Senior Master Sergeant Lawrence T. Hill, trumpet, was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He earned his Bachelor of Music Degree in Trumpet Performance from the University of New Mexico. Sergeant Hill joined The United States Air Force Academy Band in 1987 as lead trumpet in the Moods in Blue. In 1990 he became a member of Stellar Brass and in 1996 moved to Ceremonial Brass. He has performed with the Colorado Symphony, Colorado Springs Symphony, New Mexico Symphony, Chamber Orchestra of Albuquerque, Santa Fe Opera, the Summit Brass and Rio Grande and Heritage Brass Quintets. Sergeant Hill is co-principal trumpet of the concert band, with whom he has also been a featured performer.
