Technical Sergeant Henrique C De Almeida

Henrique De Almeida holds a Masters Degree in Music Performance from The University of Southern Mississippi. He is a graduate of The Berklee College of Music in Jazz Composition.  He was a long term student of drum set Gurus Alan Dawson, Gary Chaffee, Jim Chapin, Berklee professor Author John Ramsay and USM Dr. J. Wooton. Henrique is currently living in Colorado where he keeps a busy schedule recording, performing live and touring nationally with The USAF Academy Band. Henrique is a published author.  His name is mentioned along side world class artist rosters through major Publishing Companies.
He has performed, toured and or recorded with: Nat Adderley, Nelson Rangel, Jeff Narell, Ira Sullivan, Tiger Okoshy, Victor Mendonza, Danilo Perez, Phil Wilson, Baron Brown (Jean-Luc Ponty, Billy Cobham, Gary Burton) Matt Garrison (Herbie Hancock, Joe Zawinul, Pat Metheny, John Mclaughlin)  Kim Stone ( Spyro Gyra, The Rippingtones) Steve Hunt (Alan Holdsworth, Stanley Clarke, Freddie Hubbard), Dave Valentin, Bill Summers (Herbie Hancock, Hombres Calientes)  Hilton Ruiz, Betty Carter, Nando Lauria (Pat Metheny Group), Jovino Santos Neto, Alceu Valenca, Gilberto Gill, Raul De Souza, Luiz Gonzaga, Hermeto Paschoal, Greg Hopkins, Bill Cosby, Brian Lynch, Ronnie Matthews, David Williams, Luciana Souza, Katy Webster, and Oscar Kartaia among others.  Henrique new CD entitle “Samba Songs” was voted the best 2006 CD on The Colorado area by The Gazette.
