Staff Sergeant Ryan P.
Constantin
Staff
Sergeant Ryan P. Constantin is originally from Covington, LA.
After graduating from Covington High School in 1998, he enlisted
in the United States Air Force. His first assignment was at
Keesler AFB, MS, where he intermittently served from September
1998 through
July 2005. From December 1999-March 2000, Ryan was deployed
to Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia in support of Operation
Southern Watch. From August-December 2001, he was deployed
to
Al-Jaber Air Base, Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi/Enduring
Freedom.
Upon his return to Keesler AFB, Ryan
was selected for the Vehicle Control Function position where
he was responsible
for inspecting all government vehicles assigned to Keesler
AFB,
coordinating quarterly Top Wheels and annual vehicle roll-by’s,
training newly appointed Vehicle Control Operators and conducting
staff assistance visits. In November of 2002, Ryan was deployed
to Al-Udied Air Base, Qatar. After his return, he was selected
for the Fleet Manager position. His last deployment occurred
again at Ali Al-Salem Air Base, Kuwait from March-September
2004 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sergeant Constantin
joined The United States Air Force Academy Band in August
of 2005. Some of his awards include the Air Force Commendation
Medal,
the Air Force Achievement Medal with 2 oak leaf clusters,
the
Air Force Outstanding Unit Award Medal with 2 oak leaf
clusters, and the Expert Marksmanship Ribbon.
