Master Sergeant Tim W Allums

MSgt Tim W. Allums, trumpet, hails from Beaumont, TX, and holds both a Bachelor of Science in Music and a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from the University of Oregon. He successfully auditioned for the USAF Academy Band in 1997. In addition to his commitments with the USAF Academy Band’s Stellar Brass, concert band and marching band, MSgt Allums is also an active freelancer around Colorado. As lead trumpet in the Denver-based salsa band Conjunto Colores, he has opened for Diane Schuur, Arturo Sandoval and Eddie Palmieri. MSgt Allums’ Air Force accomplishments include Commendation Medal, Basic Training Honor Graduate, Expert Marksman and Non-Commissioned Officer Academy Distinguished Graduate.
